Get ready for a informative night that will make sure you start the year healthy and happy!

Bringing you a wealth of information on Health & Wellness from our experts from within our membership. Join us as our panelist topic of discussion will be " Winter ( with Covid) Wellness Strategies” . This will be an interactive discussion with our panelist with key take away points for you to start the year off healthy both personally & professionally! There will be a $10 nominal fee to participate virtually with 100% of this being donated to Haven House.

Our Virtual Format will still allow us to offer member door prizes. We encourage you to promote your business, your door prize will give you one minute of spotlight. Please contact our President Sandy directly to be included. president@owbn.ca

Our Virtual 50/50 draw was a big success, and last months winner was Margaret Evans, she won $92.50, and Haven House received $92.50. We will be following the same format for our January meeting,. To purchase 50/50 tickets, simply add your donation amount in dollars to your e-transfer upon registering and we will generate your tickets - every dollar donated will be worth one ticket entry.

Put on your splashy festive attire - little black dress, crazy sweater or comfy PJ’s! (we don't judge)

An appetizer package with goodies & instructions for the evening will be delivered to you earlier in the day. This will allow us to enjoy & share together with your beverage of choice throughout our event.

In the spirit of the season we will hold our first ever Virtual 50/50 draw to support our charity of choice Haven House, this pandemic has proven many different challenges & this year more than ever a rising need. To purchase 50/50 tickets, Simply add your donation amount in dollars to your e-transfer upon registering and we will generate your tickets - every dollar donated will be worth one ticket entry.

Your appetizer package is at a cost of $30 & we can only accept e-transfers as payment. Please compete the registration process below. The deadline to register & pay is Sunday Dec 13. Please be sure to include your name with your e-transfer as often the bank account name may not match your membership name.

Come join us for great food, great friends, and the opportunity to promote your business.

This month local author Linda Breedlove will be talking about embracing change and being a "Rebel on Purpose"

Linda is the author of a compelling motivational book called ‘Embrace the Change Be a Rebel on Purpose.’ Her next book is a continuation of her journey, because as Linda says, ‘you must keep growing and changing or you will become too complacent and stagnant.’ Linda has been called a ‘motivational voice for anyone desiring change in their lives.’

We will continue with the mini tables – please bring something that showcases your business, that will fit in a 8x10 space. We will have the mini tables set up all throughout the meeting.

COVID-19 Social Distancing Protocols will be in place for your safety. Dinner will be plated as Bayside Resort adheres to Dr Bonnie Henrys stage 2 plan

Local artisan greens with fresh strawberries, roasted pecans, and autumn apple cider vinaigrette

Grilled arugula pesto topped chicken with roasted grape tomatoes, young fingerling potatoes, and seasonal vegetables

Seared fillet of wild BC sockeye salmon, finished with white wine, lemon, and fresh dill, presented on a bed of our signature 8 grain purple rice blend & seasonal vegetables

or

Crisp hand formed quinoa patties, roasted sweet potato, fire grilled zucchini & our selection of seasonal vegetables

Welcome Back! Join us under the tent for our first meeting of the 2020-2021 season. After a very challenging few months, it will be nice to get out, dress up, and network with our incredible group of ladies.

First Course - Mediterranean Dip Duo, house made hummus and schug served with freshly made pita chips

Mediterranean Baked Cod - Coriander, fennel and smoked paprika scented blue cod fillet baked in a tomato, garlic lemon and caper sauce, served with a nine grain rice pilaf and market vegetables

Michelle Stilwell

Michelle Stilwell was elected MLA for Parksville-Qualicum in 2013 and was appointed Minister of Social Development and Social Innovation in 2015.

Prior to being sworn in as minister, Michelle served as the Government Caucus Chair and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health for Seniors. She is also a member of the Cabinet Committee on Secure Tomorrow as well as the Treasury Board.

She is a strong, bright, well-adjusted human female with a great sense of humour and a serious desire to assist her fellow humans in the pursuit of sexual health & pleasure. Niki comes with a multi-layered resume of fantastic experiences that have formed her into the sexpositive passionista she is today!
