We’re thrilled to have Paul Abra, Certified Executive Coach, join us on February 19th.
Paul is the Founder and Lead Coach at Motivated Coaching where their mission is to “inspire and motivate individuals to fulfill their dreams in their businesses, in their careers and in themselves.”
In his talk, Paul will provide some examples from his experience as an Executive Coach and business owner to demonstrate the importance of asking questions of yourself and others who work in your business and, more importantly, asking the right questions.
Whether they are questions to drive your business forward or questions to foster growth of your staff and colleagues, the way we ask questions can push us forward or hold us back. Questions give us other perspectives, may shift our thinking, and propel us to greater heights.
During the presentation, you will see examples of questions that may be incorporated into your business day to give you more focus.
About Paul
Paul Abra is a Certified Executive Coach with his Graduate Certificate of Executive Coaching (Royal Roads University).
Through Motivated Coaching, Paul enjoys coaching business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs who have a passion to make a difference in their business and professional life. He presents workshops with a business focus.
Paul has his B.A., B.Ed. and M.Ed.and was a teacher and Educational Administrator prior to owning and publishing of Island Parent Magazine. He is currently co-President of Blue Beetle Books, publisher of online eNewsletters, workshops and books.
Paul is married with two adult children and one grandchild and resides in Victoria, BC.

The Power of the Purse: 2nd Annual Purses for Haven Society
At our February 19th meeting, we will be collecting new or gently used purses for Parksville – Qualicum Beach Haven House. Consider including items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, feminine hygiene items, etc., small things that are appreciated by women who’ve fled violence. When women and their children flee violence they do so quickly, sometimes in the middle of the night with little more than the clothes they were wearing.
Haven Society promotes the integrity and safety of women, children, youth and families and the development of a respectful and healthy community. The Parksville-Qualicum Beach Haven House provides temporary shelter to support women and children who have experienced violence and are seeking safety while exploring their options in Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose, Errington, Coombs, Whiskey Creek, Qualicum Bay and Bowser.
