I am a lifelong learner and a systems thinker with a strong background in project management, executive calendar management, business development, community investment, nutrition and wellness. In addition to my strong business background I am also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
My colleagues refer to me as highly ethical, always professional, empowering others and making things happen. When I was with CH2M HILL, a large global engineering firm, I was nominated twice for the award of Mentor of the Year.
I strongly believe our value is in our people. When we discover ways to highlight the strengths of our colleagues and create a culture where everyone feels psychologically safe, we build teams, projects and organizations that thrive.
Over the past two years I have been on an extensive healing journey, considering new ways forward. I have taken this time to invest in my learning by attending courses, conferences, webinars and virtual meetings focused on nutrition and wellness and supporting others by doing coaching in nutrition, wellness, priority setting and preparing for interviews.
This also opened an opportunity for me to participate in meetings with HR Strategy Council and join the Psychological Safety Working group. This work continues to inspire me.
As I move forward on my healing journey, this opened space for me to expand my interest in photography.
I had the pleasure to speak at two events, for women in leadership, on self care, ways to harmonize your life and nourish your wellbeing.
I have gained great experience working across the sectors in education, engineering, construction and health; working for a professional association, a not-for-profit, a large engineering firm and various public sector organizations. I feel so blessed to have been involved in leading, creating and building unique community partnerships and delivering client and community focused events and meetings.
What I bring to an organization is the ability to see the big picture, with a people first focus, adjust my working style to best harmonize with clients, stakeholders and colleagues working through changing priorities.
I am passionate about implementing strategies that allow access for all youth to pursue careers in STEM and Construction and coaching on harmonizing life with a wellness lens so we can thrive and be nourished in all we do. As well, I have a strong commitment to giving back and investing in local community.
I will update the social media handles and the bio once my membership is confirmed.
